I have to say the most significant experience and risk that I've taken and has been a big impact in my life was when i went to this christian camp with my cousin. I was 11 years old and It was my first time being away from my mom and everyone, i wasn't able to keep in touch with anyone not even with my friends for it was in Rosarito and we didn't have phone service over there. During this camp we did plenty of activities, i remember we had a night activity and we had to make up our own christian songs it was so fun, my experience there was great. The reason why it was a significant experience to me because one day in the camp, we had a service at night and it was my first time being alone on a service with a bunch of youth. My family is really religious and when they talk about being able to feel god being there, i really didn't understood but that night i understood what they meant. During the service we sing and pray and in that moment i felt a lot of joy and emotion going though my body, i cant really explain how it felt but i felt like i could understand what my family meant. After that i felt relieve, thats why i say it was a big impact to me was because I've learn to appreciate everything such as my family and my religious. I say it was a risk because i was alone even though my cousin was by my side it wasn't the same without my family and i learned how to appreciate my family when I'm with them. Also it was huge risk for they was no television and no phone. Also now that I'm older i take advantage to go to church with my mom every other sunday because i know it means a lot to my mom and my mom means a lot to me. Thats why its the most significant experience, and when I face a hard or worst experience, i know who can help me resolve my problems or at least give me advice, because i know god is always going to be by my side.
